ORGANIZATION: Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles

Girl Scouts from all parts of Greater Los Angeles need to get up to Camp Lakota for their week-long experience at camp in Frazier Park. This is where you come in! We host multiple drop off & pick up locations throughout Los Angeles to bus our girls up to camp. We need your support in checking in/out all campers, helping to get luggage onto the bus, confirming accurate rosters with camp staff, and greeting and interacting with Girl Scout parents as they send their Girl Scouts to camp (sometimes for the first time).

Locations & Dates:

Pick ups & Drop offs take place on Mondays and Fridays respectively from June 19- July 28 in the following areas:

  • Arcadia
  • Canoga Park
  • Inglewood

Volunteer Requirements: Must be comfortable talking to children and adults. Quick to attend to customer care needs. Closed toed shoes are required. Must complete training.

Training: We will share a PPT deck to review before your shift to explain the specifics of your role.

NOTE: We are unable to provide volunteer opportunities for court-mandated community service.
