Volunteer Opportunity
In our Hollywood location, we are looking for a volunteer to facilitate a weekly (1 hour) English Conversation group with seniors, whose primary language is not English.
The volunteer's tasks may include:
-Setting conversation topics
-Reading aloud to the group
-Practicing pronunciation
-Playing English Bingo or other language games
The volunteer will receive orientation, basic training, and support from the Program Director.
We are looking for someone who loves communication and enjoys interaction with seniors. Some teaching experience preferred but not required. Weekday availablity preferred. Volunteer must go through a criminal background check before working with the seniors.
