Special Olympics Montana in the Bozeman/Belgrade area is looking for an Appreciation Coordinator to foster a culture of gratitude and recognition in the regional Big Sky Area. This volunteer position is responsible ofr planning and implementing initiatives to recognize and celebrate the contributions or athletes, volunteers, coaches, sponsors, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute appreciation strategies and events (thank-you notes/receipts, recognition ceremonies, social media shout-outs)
- Coordinate with other volunteers and staff to identify individuals and groups deserving of recognition
- Maintain records of volunteer service and milestones for recognition purposes
- Assist in creating and distributing appreciation materials (certificates, gifts, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Passion for inclusion and the mission of Special Olympics
- Creativity and enthusiasm for celebrating others
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
