YWCA Union County is actively recruiting committed, reliable and sympathetic individuals to become volunteers interested in ending the cycle of domestic violence and creating real change in our communities. Volunteer positions available include:

• Crisis Response Team
• 24-Hour Hotline
• Childcare Services
• Administrative Support
• Workforce Mentorship
• Grant Writing
• Board of Directors Member

YWCA Union County's virtual 40-Hour Domestic Violence Certification training program begins Wednesday, September 3rd and is free to all prospective volunteers. Contact volunteer@ywcaunioncounty.org for more information.

In 1978, in response to the growing concern about domestic violence in Union County, YWCA Union County established Project Protect to provide emergency shelter for battered women and their children. Today, they are recognized as the lead domestic violence agency in Union County, with a full range of services provided.
