GLAD Academy is a global nonprofit connecting volunteers with students for virtual tutoring in English and other subjects. Earn certified volunteer hours and recommendation letters.
Tutors meet with students weekly (flexible schedule). Fluency in English is required; some Chinese is a plus. You can also teach other subjects you’re passionate about.

Description
GLAD Academy is a global nonprofit organization that connects passionate volunteers with students from around the world to provide meaningful educational support while earning certified volunteer hours.
As a tutor, you’ll be matched with a student (often to help with English conversation and reading), and you'll meet virtually once a week-or on a schedule that works best for you. You're also welcome to teach other subjects you're passionate about, from science and math to another language, history, or the arts. Tutors should speak fluent English and preferably know some Chinese.
We offer more than just volunteer hours: GLAD Academy provides official certificates, personalized recommendation letters upon request, and opportunities to earn recognition, such as the Honor Tutor award for enhancing college applications, internships, and job opportunities.
