2025 TAIWANfest: Pre Festival Volunteers - Stage Manager

ORGANIZATION: Arts for Canadians Tomorrow Society

Be the star behind the TAIWANfest stage!

Stage Managers work closely with our staff, emcees, and performers to bring a spectacular live show to our audiences. Ensure the programming goes to schedule and adapt to changes during the festival. Practise communication skills and be a part of the festival with the best view of the stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn festival programming and stage tech riders prior to the festival
  • Check in with staff and artists backstage and ensure scheduled programming runs smoothly
  • Communicate with performers, technicians, emcees, and staff throughout the scheduled programming
  • Help set up the stage where needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly attitude.
  • Commitment to attending orientation sessions prior to the festival and at least one whole day of the festival.
  • Ability to speak a second language is an asset.
  • Ability to adapt to changes with the scheduled programming.
