Be a leader at TAIWANfest!
Take on a proactive role at the festival by leading fellow volunteers and ensuring the event runs smoothly. Work closely with the core staff and get an inside look into the behind-the-scenes of a cultural festival. Flex your communication skills and build confidence in leading a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule volunteers and assign tasks onsite.
- Communicate with volunteers and staff throughout the festival.
- Learn programming details before the festival and train volunteers on festival programming and onsite expectations.
- Adapt to situational and environmental changes during the festival.
- Be ready to help set up, take down, and stay in communication with staff throughout the festival.
Required Qualifications:
- Commitment to attending orientation sessions prior to the festival and all three days of the festival.
- Ability to adapt to change and work with minimal supervision.
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to take charge.
- Experience with Google Suite and good time management skills.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an asset.
