Help bridge language barriers as an English-Chinese Translator!
As one of Canada’s largest bilingual events, TAIWANfest ensures audiences can enjoy the festival to the fullest. Contribute to a meaningful cultural event by putting your language skills to work. Individuals fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin priority) are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate text for website, onsite signage, social media, etc.
- Work with staff to understand programming content
- Research and present content on topics relevant to the festival’s theme
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in written Chinese (traditional) and English
- Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects
- Experience in office applications such as MS Office, Google Suite, YouTube, etc.
- Experience in translating written documents
