Description : Duties will focus on providing creative, logistical, and administrative support for events, as needed, to help WIFSFBA promote, organize, and execute successful events.
Responsibilities :
- Creating Canva Flyers for Events:
- Design visually appealing flyers and promotional materials, using the WIFSFBA Canva template(s), to advertise upcoming events.
- Incorporate event details, images, and branding elements provided by the organization to create eye-catching promotional assets.
- Ensure that flyers adhere to brand guidelines and effectively communicate key event information to target audiences.
- Event Assistance (Virtual or In-Person):
- Assist with event setup and coordination, whether in-person or virtual, by helping with logistical tasks.
- Provide support during the event, as requested
- Creating Social Media Posts Using Prior Year Newsletters:
- Extract relevant content and highlights from prior year newsletters to create engaging social media posts promoting upcoming events or initiatives.
- Craft compelling captions and messaging to accompany social media posts, incorporating relevant hashtags and tagging relevant partners or sponsors.

WHO WE ARE * Women In Film San Francisco Bay Area (WIFSFBA - Pronounced 'wif-sfbay') is a volunteer-run non-profit organization that actively provides networking, educational, and social opportunities for over 1,000 women film, TV, and digital media makers in the San Francisco Bay Area. WHAT WE DO * We work with individual film, television, and media makers as well as local organizations and businesses to help women to connect, create, and be inspired. We host: Events & Mixers, Panels & Co-Presentations, Workshops & Programs, Screenings & Showcases, A thriving online community & social network DIVERSITY & INCLUSION * Women in Film San Francisco Bay Area creates and fosters community by providing an intentionally welcoming and safe environment where all feel valued and cared for, and where all are given opportunity to form meaningful connections with one another.
