The Blooming Hearts Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering women and supporting underprivileged children through education, mentorship, and digital skills development. We're launching a 6-week virtual training program to equip aspiring young women with the skills needed to work as Virtual Assistants -- and we need your expertise.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a skilled and passionate Volunteer Virtual Assistant Tutor to lead this program. You'll facilitate live online training sessions three times a week, guiding a group of enthusiastic learners through the fundamentals of remote administrative work.

Responsibilities

• Teach live online classes 3x weekly for 6 weeks (minimum 1 hour per session)
• Develop or follow a simple training plan with practical examples
• Guide participants in mastering tools like Google Workspace, email management, and time tracking
• Provide weekly tasks and give feedback to trainees
• Mentor participants and help build their confidence and professionalism
• Support attendance tracking and encourage active engagement

Core Topics

• Introduction to Virtual Assistance in a nonprofit context
• Email & calendar management
• Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive essentials
• Time management & productivity tools (Trello, Slack, WhatsApp, etc.)
• Professional communication and remote work etiquette
• Reporting, documentation, and basic task supervision

Requirements

• Experience as a Virtual Assistant, Admin Support, or similar remote role
• Confident public speaker or online trainer
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and remote tools
• Patient, encouraging, and passionate about teaching
• Previous training, coaching, or mentoring experience (formal or informal)
