Organization: CITCA (Counselors in the Community Association)
Location: Hybrid - Virtual & In-Person (Baltimore, MD)
Commitment: 6 months minimum | 10-15 hours/week (approx. 40-50 hours/month)
Schedule:
Podcast Prep: 4:30-5:30 PM on the 1st and last Wednesdays of each month
Live Podcast Recording: 5:30-6:30/7:00 PM on the 1st and last Wednesdays of each month
About the Opportunity:
CITCA is seeking a dedicated Podcast Production Manager to support the growth and impact of the YouthVoice Wellness Connect Podcast, a youth-led platform where high schoolers speak on real topics impacting their lives-from mental health to education, advocacy, and everything in between. This is an exciting opportunity to help manage and grow a powerful storytelling platform for young voices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the overall podcast production process from pre- to post-production
Oversee scheduling, recording, and logistics for each episode
Coordinate with hosts, guests, and volunteers
Ensure audio/video quality and upload finalized episodes on time
Collaborate with social media and marketing volunteers to promote episodes
Maintain episode archives and organize digital files
Ideal Candidate Has:
Strong organizational and project management skills
Experience or interest in podcasting, media, or digital production
Familiarity with podcast platforms (e.g. Spotify, YouTube, Anchor)
Ability to troubleshoot basic audio or video issues
A passion for youth empowerment, storytelling, and mental wellness

Counselors in the Community Alliance- CITCA serves disadvantaged individuals throughout the United States from urban & rural communities with mental and behavioral health resources by increasing access to services, resources and support for children, adults and families impacted by poverty and poverty-related issues and bridge the gaps to strengthen community resilience through stewardship, economic opportunities, health and education equity.
Description
CITCA is a national 501c3 on a powerful mission to increase strengthen mental health awareness and community resilience. Our association includes a collaborative alliance among counselors, mental health professionals, and community members nationwide engaging in civic community activities that promote mental health awareness and resiliency. Through such allyship the organization strengthens anti-poverty initiatives that bridge the gaps on access to care and socioeconomic resources including programs, education and employment resources.
Since incorporating the nonprofit has been driving impact in social emotional learning, SEL and increasing access to counseling services for low income families. The organization also offer programs for youth leadership development, advocacy, community resources and programs that contribute to prosocial development and other services to close equity gaps
We are seeking volunteers to serve with us who share similar passions to increase mental health awareness and strengthen communities. Volunteers are the driving force our mission would be incomplete without and we welcome all with a passion too serve.
