Recieve and appropriately handle incoming crisis line calls. The St. Jude House crisis line operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Responsibilities
3-4-hour crisis line coverage between the hours of 11 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Appropriately log crisis call information as instructed
Ability to perform additional small tasks when or if time warrants .
Qualifications
- Completion of Volunteer Orientation/Training as it relates to crisis intervention.
Basic telephone techniques.
Willingness to learn.
Non-judgmental attitude.
Dependable.

St. Jude House provides services to victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault and their dependent children. Shelter and crisis intervention services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All services are provided free of charge.
