Job Title: Backup Volunteer


Job Description: This positionis a lower commitment position that focuses on extra help when another volunteer calls out. This position ensures park operations are maintained even on short notices. Instead of volunteering weekly at a set schedule, this opportunity gives you a call when needed. The perfect candidate will live within 30-45 minutes from the park and is open to work on occasional weekend and weekdays.


Responsibilities: To fill-in at the front desk as needed or on special holidays and events. The volunteer will provide accurate park information, suggest appropriate hiking trails, provide a great visitor experience, and to maintain park availability.


Uniforms: You will be given a shirt and a name tag. You will provide your own pants and shoes. Pants must not be dirty or have holes in them. You must wear hiking shoes or tennis shoes, no open toe or high heels. Your appearance must be clean and upkept.


Work Environment: This position is indoors with AC.
