Mission Statement
At Global World Citizens (GWC), we are more than a nonprofit -- we are a global movement. Our mission is to empower youth, end poverty, and build a new open global world economy through truth, innovation, and action. We provide young people in disadvantaged communities with the tools they need to rise -- mentally, economically, spiritually, and creatively. Through programs in education, music, arts, sports, film, Web3, and technology, we uplift the next generation of leaders and change-makers. With your support, we’re building a network of 1 million Global World Citizens creating a future based on equality, unity, and opportunity for all.
Description
History: Global World Citizens (GWC) began as a local grassroots initiative. Recognizing shared challenges in urban and rural communities worldwide, we evolved into a global organization. Our history emphasizes collective action, unity, and eradicating poverty.
Goals: GWC empowers global children and youth with knowledge and skills for 21st-century success. Our vision: a world where every child rises from poverty to hope, knowledge, and confidence. Our goal: a new, equitable Global World Economy ending poverty.
Programs: GWC harnesses knowledge, music, arts, sports, film, and I.C.T. to empower disadvantaged youth. Our initiatives bridge privilege gaps with education, arts, sports, and digital skills, ensuring transformative opportunities.
Achievements: Our proudest moments are stories of children and youth rising from poverty to realize their potential. We're dedicated to poverty eradication through a new Global World Economy. Join us as a Global World Citizen Volunteer to create a brighter future.
