We are looking for a dedicated Grant Writer to join our team. The Grant Writer (intern) will play a key role by writing compelling grant proposals. In doing so, you will make a considerable difference in the lives of young children in under-served communities.
Responsibilities
Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources.
Assist with preparing Letters of Inquiry (LOIs), grant applications, and supporting materials.
Help track deadlines, submissions, and responses using a grants calendar or CRM tool.
Assist in collecting and organizing program data, impact stories, and organizational materials needed for grant proposals.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions related to fundraising and development.
Draft thank-you letters and assist with funder communication and stewardship when needed.
Time Commitment:
10 hours per week (with specific days and hours being flexible)
Internship Length
3-6 month internship, with the option to extend based on interest and availability
Preferred Qualifications
Current student or recent graduate in nonprofit management, communications, English, public policy, or a related field (or equivalent interest/experience).
Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable.
Passion for social impact and the mission of Season to Soar.
Prior experience with grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofits is a plus but not required.
