Study Zone provides free tutoring to all students grades K‐12 and anyone up to age 21 studying for the GED. Tutoring takes place in a group setting, with 1‐5 students working together with each tutor. Study Zone is not intended for intensive one‐to‐one tutoring.
Students may "drop in" for homework assistance any time during Study Zone hours. Students do not need to register or sign up in advance.
Tutor Subjects: Study Zone tutors are expected to cover all subjects for grades K‐6 (Elementary), and then specialize in one or two topics at the middle and high school level. High school students will work with those tutors who cover the topic they need at the advanced level. Tutor subject specialties and languages available on each shift are listed on the Biblio Event entry for each library.
