Event Location: The Harrelson Center, 420 Fourth Street
The Cape Fear Cultural Association of India (CFCAI) presentsa celebration of India’s rich heritage and culture on Saturday, August 16th.We are looking for volunteers to help with this special event. Participants will experience the music, dance, art, and cuisine of India. There will be entertainmentthroughout the day, including classical and Bollywood dances. Participants will be able to join in for interactive lessons as well. There will also be an array of regional mouth-watering Indiancuisines, as well as the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon cup ofmasala chai! Other interactive booths include Hennapainting, Rangoli making, and learning the secrets of Indian spices, andYoga.We will need volunteers to help set up and usher participants throughout this event. in addition, we are requesting volunteers to clean up after the event.

Originally founded in 2009, the Cape Fear Cultural Association of India, Wilmington, North Carolina, has been working diligently to connect people of Indian heritage and to share our history and culture with the region! India Day is a grant supported event.
