Calling All Seamstresses - Make a Lasting Difference with Your Craft!
Do you love to sew and want to use your skills to bring comfort and healing to others? Join our compassionate team at AccentCare Hospice as a Volunteer Seamstress and help create memory bears, pillows, or fidget blankets for hospice patients and their loved ones.
These handmade items offer peace and comfort during times of grief and loss-each one a beautiful tribute that helps preserve a loved one’s legacy and memory.
What We Provide:
All crafting supplies and materials, i.e., patterns
Flexible volunteer hours (sew at your own pace and from home)
Meaningful projects-families typically receive bears within 4-6 weeks (per bear)
Memory Bears help keep a loved one’s spirit close.Memory Pillows offer a tangible reminder of cherished moments. Fidget Blankets bring calm and connection to patients with cognitive needs.
