We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Email & Communications volunteer to support our outreach and engagement efforts. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in professional communication, nonprofit operations, or digital outreach--while contributing to meaningful work.

As our Email & Communications volunteer, you will assist with drafting, scheduling, and sending out professional emails to partners, volunteers, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders. You’ll help ensure that our messaging is clear, timely, and aligned with our mission. This is a flexible, remote position that requires 2-3 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and send emails to various audiences (using Mailchimp, or other tools)
• Maintain organized mailing lists and records
• Follow up on outgoing communications and respond to inquiries when needed
• Collaborate with team members on announcements and email campaigns
• Assist with basic formatting and editing of newsletters or updates

Ideal Candidate:

• Has excellent written communication and professional email etiquette
• Is organized, reliable, and pays attention to detail
• Comfortable using email platforms (or willing to learn quickly)
• Has access to a reliable internet connection
• Is enthusiastic about communication and outreach in a nonprofit setting
