Food on Foot is hosting it's annual fundraising gala in September - just a few months away. We are looking for a team to assist in outreach for silent auction items. This volunteer role would work with the Development Director for a few hours per month to help acquire donated items we could sell at our fundraising event.
If you are someone who like to be in the action or silently on the side-lines supporting, this is for you. No experience necessary and training and guidance is provided. This role could also teach you a new skill in non-profit development!

Mission Statement
Food on Foot is a nonprofit dedicated to assisting our unhoused and low-income neighbors in Los Angeles with nutritious meals, clothing, and a fresh start through life-skills training, full-time employment, and permanent housing.
Description
As a volunteer, you'll strengthen our community by distributing food, clothing and essential supplies to 280+ unhoused and low-income neighbors. You will also meet and hear stories from the participants in our Jobs & Housing program. Graduates from this program earn their way off the streets with full-time jobs, fully-furnished apartments, life-skills training, and the confidence needed to make their accomplishments long-lasting.
Kids are welcome! Volunteering with Food on Foot is kid friendly and the perfect way to give back as a family. Children ages 6 and up are welcome. Everyone under 18 must sign up online and be accompanied by a supervising ticketed adult.
