Are you fluent in Spanish and English ? Use your language skills to change lives with the American Red Cross as a Restoring Family Links (RFL) Caseworker . We are seeking two bilingual volunteers (Spanish/English) to support our International Services team in helping families who have been separated by armed conflict, migration, natural disasters, or humanitarian emergencies .
This is a remote-friendly volunteer role (you do not need to be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area) that allows you to bring hope and healing to families in crisis-right from your home.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct compassionate interviews with Spanish-speaking clients to gather details needed to begin searches
Use Red Cross tools and networks to trace missing family members
Deliver and collect messages between separated loved ones
Provide emotional support and updates to families
Document and manage case information in our secure database
Connect families with other helpful services when appropriate
Must-Have Qualifications:
Fluency in Spanish and English (Required)
Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
Comfortable using databases and Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and compassionately with people from diverse backgrounds
Passion for humanitarian work and helping others
Training Provided (No experience necessary):
Red Cross Orientation & RFL casework training
Psychological First Aid
Cultural competency and database systems
Ongoing support and mentoring from experienced caseworkers
