As a Rock the Block volunteer, you’ll be part of a hands-on effort to revitalize neighborhoods and support local homeowners in the 25th Street area of Niagara Falls. Volunteers will help with:
- Painting: freshening up home exteriors to improve curb appeal
- Landscaping: trimming bushes, planting flowers, and cleaning up yards
- Minor Repairs: fixing fences, steps, railings, or porches
- Community Beautification: helping public spaces shine with clean ups and light construction
All work is outdoor and supports our new A Brush with Kindness program. You’ll be improving the health, safety, and pride of the community.
What to Expect:
- No experience needed - just a willingness to help!
- We provide all tools, materials, and instructions
- Volunteers should wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes
Whether you're volunteering solo or with a team, one day or multiple, you'll leave knowing you made a real difference.

Description
Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity began in 1993, as a volunteer-only non-profit. Our Geographical Service Area includes the western half of Niagara County, New York. Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity International began in 1976 as a grassroots effort. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in more than 70 countries. Families and individuals in need of a "hand up" partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower.
