We are seeking a Curriculum Developer to join our program development volunteer team. This is a meaningful opportunity to build creative learning experiences that inspire young people to express themselves, think critically, and engage with art in meaningful ways.
As part of our team, you will design curriculum materials that nurture artistic expression, creativity, cultural appreciation, and critical thinking. Modules may include visual arts, performance, storytelling, design thinking, and multimedia arts. You will support educators and program leaders with training resources and workshops, and help adapt content for digital learning environments.
We welcome applicants with all levels of experience. Candidates with backgrounds in visual or performing arts, arts education, cultural studies, or creative media are encouraged to apply.
Curriculum Developer Duties and Responsibilities - Arts
Define course objectives that promote creativity, self-expression, and cultural awareness.
Design lessons that explore various art forms including drawing, painting, theater, music, and digital media.
Develop modules that integrate artistic techniques with personal and social storytelling.
Encourage experimentation, reflection, and collaboration through project-based art activities.
Review and refine curriculum to ensure accessibility, inclusivity, and relevance.
Transform curriculum into digital formats using visual aids, videos, and creative apps.
Provide training and resources to help educators foster artistic confidence and exploration in youth.
Collaborate with artists, educators, and cultural practitioners for diverse perspectives.
Inspire young learners to see art as a tool for communication, innovation, and social impact.
