Join the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Wisconsin Chapter at Chill on the Hill, a beloved community concert series, and help bring awareness, resources, and hope to the public. As a volunteer tabling representative, you’ll be a friendly and informed presence, sharing information about AFSP’s mission, resources, and upcoming events.


Time Commitment: Approximately 2-3 hours per evening

Responsibilities:

  • Help set up and take down the AFSP resource table

  • Engage with event attendees in a warm, respectful, and informative manner

  • Distribute brochures, event flyers, and materials about mental health and suicide prevention

  • Promote AFSP programs like Out of the Darkness Walks and Talk Saves Lives

  • Answer basic questions and direct individuals to further resources if needed

Requirements:

  • Comfortable talking to the public and passionate about AFSP’s mission

  • Ability to stand/sit outdoors for the duration of the event (rain or shine)

  • Friendly, empathetic, and reliable
