Zelienople 4th of July Parade Volunteers

Glade Run is seeking volunteers to assist with our float in the 2025 annual 4th of July Parade in downtown Zelienople on Friday, July 4th.

Each year Glade Run has an entry in the annual parade, and uses this event as an opportunity to pass out candy and flyers for our upcoming Family Food Truck Festival on August 9. Volunteers are also needed to ride on the "float" wagon itself.

Glade Run's "float" is our large wagon, pulled by a truck and decorated for 4th of July. Volunteers are also welcome before the float to decorate the wagon and help to tape Food Truck Festival cards to the candy that is handed out to parade goers. (Zelienople does not allow candy to be thrown; it must be handed out.) The parade starts at 11 a.m. and is about an hour long. Volunteers should arrive at the float on South High Street by 10:30. Wear festive but casual 4th of July attire and comfortable shoes for walking; if you provide me with your sizes I will do my best to have a blue Glade Run t shirt for you to wear if you like. We'll provide water, snacks, sunscreen.

If you're interested in helping with any of these activities, please let us know! It is a fun day! Decorating the wagon and taping cards to candy can be done any time now through event day, and the latter can be done off campus.
