Time Commitment: 4-6 hours per week

The Cyber Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing cybersecurity and emerging technology policy through research, education, and public engagement. We collaborate with institutions, leaders, and advocates to expand knowledge and shape a more secure digital future.

Role Overview:
The Partnership Development Lead is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing institutional partnerships and collaborative programs. This role focuses on building strategic relationships that expand our reach, elevate our mission, and create opportunities for joint initiatives. The Lead also oversees partner communications, ambassador programs, and cross-sector outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with nonprofits, academic institutions, companies, and government entities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective partners

  • Coordinate and manage collaborative initiatives, MOUs, or joint events

  • Oversee the Cyber Ambassador program and other partnership engagement strategies

  • Align partnership efforts with organizational priorities and campaigns

  • Track partnership metrics and report on outreach outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Experience in partnership development, outreach, or relationship management

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to think strategically and build mutually beneficial collaborations

  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple relationships at once

  • Passion for cybersecurity, education, or public policy (preferred)

  • Comfort working independently in a remote environment
