Celebrate Pollinator Weekend at the Butterfly House!

It is National Pollinator Week and we are celebrating! We will have crafts, games, and a pollinator plant sale. We will also have a painting and planting fundraiser that supports our education department.

We will need help with the following areas:

• Fundraiser Craft- Please only sign up for this is you are comfortable taking credit card payments. Training provided. Volunteers will take credit card payments for this fundraising craft. They will also assist guests with painting their pots, filling it with dirt, and planting a seed.
• Plant Sale- Please only sign up for this is you are comfortable taking credit card payments. Training provided. Volunteers will take credit card payments for the plants sold.
• Butterfly Craft- This is a free craft included with admission to the Butterfly House. Volunteers will help guests make a butterfly finger puppet.
• Project Pollinator- Talk with guests about pollinators, pollinator plants, and our Project Pollinator mission. Talking points, specimens, and informational flyers provided.
• Prize Wheel- This is a fun learning game for guests. They spin the wheel, you ask them a question about bugs, and they get a prize. They still get a prize even if they do not get the answer correct. You will provide the answer if needed. Questions and answers to this learning game are provided.

Shifts are 8:45-10:45am, 10:30am-12:30pm, 12:15-2:15pm, and 2:00-4:00pm on June 21 and June 22, 2025.
