ORGANIZATION: TINAS BABY

Every child deserves the joy and safety of knowing how to swim. Adaptive swim lessons can be life-changing for children with autism, but we need your help to make them happen. We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to lead our swim program. Our 6-week adaptive swim program is designed to provide autistic children aged 3-8 with the unique support and skilled instruction they need to learn vital water safety skills and build confidence in the water.

Tina's Baby Making Waves 6-week adaptive swim class meets twice a week for 1 hour. Providing a 1-on-1 child-centered approach with instructions that adapt to each swimmer's unique needs and pace. Our key focus is water acclimation & comfort, fundamental water safety skills, basic movement & propulsion, and building confidence.

If you are a trained lifeguard and/or instructor and would love to create a safe, patient, and understanding environment that allows each child to learn at their own pace and experience the therapeutic benefits of swimming, email us at info@tinasbaby.org!
