Are you looking for a fulfilling outdoor experience? Join us as a Volunteer Campground Host at Bird Island Basin Campground, located along the beautiful Laguna Madre at Padre Island National Seashore. This area is perfect for fishing, birding, windsurfing, and kayaking!


Your Role

As a Campground Host, you will:

  • Engage with visitors and provide them with essential information about the campground and local activities.
  • Assist in keeping the campground clean and stocked.
  • Share insights about the local ecosystem and encourage responsible outdoor practices.
About Bird Island Basin

Our campground features 35 RV and tent sites plus 10 tent-only sites, all on flat gravel. Please note that there are no hookups available . Enjoy stunning views and easy access to the water while supporting visitors in making the most of their stay.


Who We're Looking For

Ideal candidates are outdoor enthusiasts with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Customer service experience is a plus!
