Social Media Team Project Manager

ORGANIZATION: RESILIENCE

Resilience offers unpaid internship programs that require at least a 4 month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement

Although this is an unpaid internship, there is the opportunity to earn school credit. Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.

The Social Media Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting the Social Media Manager and Team. This role requires research and writing skills, and the ability to communicate in a professional, clear manner. Experience is not required but writing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Planning

  • Assist in developing and executing the overall social media strategy across all platforms.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging, tone, and visual identity.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to refine strategy.
  • Support in creating content plans.

Content Oversight & Collaboration

  • Oversee the Social Media Content Creator to ensure content quality, consistency, and deadlines are met.
  • Review and approve content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and audience engagement goals.
  • Assist in brainstorming and developing creative content ideas, including campaigns and collaborations.
  • Coordinate with content creators and graphic designers.

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Monitor and engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and brand mentions.
  • Analyze audience feedback and engagement trends to optimize content and strategy.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Track key social media metrics (reach, engagement) and generate reports.
  • Analyze content performance to provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.

* Conduct competitor analysis to identify new opportunities for growth.

The organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through 5 core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting & effective decision-making. Resilience also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, social beings, and overall well-being.
