Resilience offers internship programs that require at least a 5 month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main contact for queries, concerns, research, and implementation of software development.
- Collaborate closely with team members to enhance app design and functionality.
- Develop APIs to support mobile app functionalities.
- Utilize and adapt various systems and languages, such as Github, Striven, React.js/React Native, Object-Oriented Programming, and Docker.
- Prepare documentation for weekly tasks, ensuring clear and concise information is available.
- Perform code reviews and debugging to maintain code quality and identify and fix issues.
- Plan and manage realistic deadlines for each task contributing to app development.
- Actively participate and communicate progress, issues, and achievements during team meetings.
- Effectively convey technical concepts, code, and programming language-related issues when questioned.
- Work alongside the Project Manager to successfully launch the app on Apple and Play Store.
- Identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for training within the team.
- Monitor and assess the performance of other software developers in the team.
- Report to the Director monthly to discuss the progress of the app.
- Extensive experience with React Native, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Proficiency in utilizing Github for version control and collaboration.
- Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
- Proven ability to develop APIs to support mobile app functionalities.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to plan and manage realistic deadlines for tasks and projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation.
- Experience in code reviews and maintaining code quality.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through 5 core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting & effective decision-making. Resilience also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, social beings, and overall well-being.
