At the West Houston Assistance Ministries aka WHAM, we partner with the Houston Food Bank to provide summer lunches to school age children Monday through Fridaybetween June 9, 2025 through July 25, 2025 from 10:30am - 1:00pm.
There are many children, who during the school year, receive breakfast and lunch through school programs. This program closes the gap and provides food stability during the months the school is closed.
Volunteers would assist with any of the following: check in children, serve lunches, light clean up and fun activities.
