Each week we deliver a selection of our inventory to low-income housing communities in Boulder, making food more accessible for those facing mobility and transportation challenges. Currently we have 6 mobile pantries that serve around 400 residents per month living in Boulder Housing Authority apartments.

  • Van drivers: Van drivers help by driving the food to locations, unloading and assisting with the pantry during the time open. They load up crates and leftover food and return to the pantry. Lifting up to 40 lbs required.
  • Check-in Volunteers use an iPad to check in shoppers and assist with unloading and setting up food when necessary.

We are currently needing regular mobile pantry van drivers and check-in volunteers for the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, and substitutes for other mobile pantries on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Background check required for van driver approval.

Training provided.

About HARVEST OF HOPE PANTRY

Location:

4830 Pearl St, BOULDER, CO 80301, US

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to provide healthy supplemental food to Boulder families and individuals in need of food assistance within a safe, welcoming and non-judgmental environment.

Description

Harvest of Hope Pantry is a Boulder-based non-profit providing food assistance in a grocery-store like environment.
Harvest of Hope Pantry helps relieve the stress of food insecurity and offer a sense of hope for individuals and families in Boulder. We feel we can best do this by providing an outlet for food items to those in need in a non-judgmental, safe and caring environment. Our client-choice model allows people to select their food in pantry setting. Donated food items in our community simply need a more effective way to reach those in need. We focus on the re-distribution of food and donated personal hygiene items.
