Project: Create Standard Operating Procedure Documentation
ORGANIZATION: PETER ZIPPI MEMORIAL FUND INC
Please visit the new page to apply.

Description
Our organization currently has fragmented documentation for its SOP's, spread around multiple documents, Google Drive folders, and with no solid organization. The goal of this project would be to consolidate the documentation into essentially a "Volunteer Manual" or Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) format. This would include standardizing the writing style and level of detail of each section, as well as organizing information into more digestible formats such as tables or checklists.
Project Roadmap Step 1Schedule a call with us to get an understanding of the scope of the project.
Step 2Get a detailed understanding of the policy document requirements and have a look at our previous ones to understand the format. Get rough content for the same.
Step 3Research the structure and information to add to this document. Write professional content and create the document as per the plan. We expect this will be a somewhat collaborative process.
Deliverables A policy document for various aspects of the organization. ImpactAn effective policy document will better allow us to onboard new volunteers, and ensure existing volunteers are able to access the information they need easier.
This a great project for someone who is willing to gain deeper knowledge into the subject and enhance their writing skills specifically in formal policy development.

Description
Peter Zippi Memorial Fund is an organization committed to making a difference in the lives of animals. We were founded in memory of Peter Zippi, a beloved animal lover who had a profound impact on the community. Established in 1977, our organization began with a small group of passionate individuals dedicated to honoring Peter's memory and his unwavering love for animals.
At Peter Zippi Memorial Fund we focus on the rescue and rehabilitation of abandoned and homeless cats in addition to providing financial assistance through monthly spay-neuter events and our spay-neuter voucher program. We strive to reduce the stray cat population by promoting responsible pet ownership, and advocating for affordable veterinary services including spay-neuter surgeries.
Over the years, our collective efforts have led to numerous heartwarming success stories. Through tireless dedication and the support of our community, we have rescued and rehomed thousands of cats in addition to facilitating free or more affordable spay-neuter surgeries for thousands of companion animals (mostly cats and dogs). This would not have been possible without the generosity and support of our supporters. Contributions, whether through donations, volunteer work, or advocacy, have been instrumental in bringing about positive change in the lives of animals.
