About HURTT FATHERS ADVOCATE CORPORATION

Location:

10770 COLUMBIA PIKE STE 300 # 1096, SILVER SPRING, MD 20901, US

Mission Statement

At The Hurtt Fathers Advocate Corporation, our mission is to empower fathers and families with the tools, resources, and support needed to create strong, loving, and stable homes. We believe that children thrive when both parents are actively involved in their lives. Studies show that engaged fathers reduce the likelihood of children facing incarceration, depression, and instability. Through legal assistance, mental health support, job training, parenting resources, and community advocacy, we fight for fathers’ rights while promoting the well-being of entire families. Our goal is to create a fairer family court system, strengthen parental bonds, and ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow up in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Description

The Hurtt Fathers Advocate Corporation was founded by Jerron Hurtt Sr., a devoted father known as "Daddy Hurtt" online. He and his sons went viral with over 1 billion views showing how a loving father raises God fearing, intelligent boys. After a painful custody battle that cost him his sons, home, and business, Jerron turned his heartbreak into a mission to help other fathers reunite with their children.

Our nonprofit provides legal support, emotional healing, and mentorship for fathers and youth in fatherless homes. We’ve:
* Hosted a paid fathers’ retreat in Michigan to support men in crisis
* Partnered with the University of Baltimore School of Law to teach truant students how to create viral content and promote school attendance
* Teamed with Global Impact Wellness to offer mental health support to struggling dads

We’re seeking volunteer grant writers to help us grow these programs by securing funding for legal aid, youth mentorship, and family reunification. Writers will help us research opportunities and craft compelling proposals.

We also welcome volunteers with skills in legal aid, event planning, mental health, or outreach. Your time can change a father’s life, a child’s future, and reunite families.
