This role will work as part of a team of volunteers at community outreach events. Community Event support volunteers will interact with the public and share about Safe Hands Rescue’s mission along with recruiting volunteers/fosters and sharing about adoptable animals. Time commitment is approximately 2-4 hours per event and frequency is determined by you.

Description
Safe Hands Rescue was founded in 2006 and has continued to grow and save more dogs and cats every year. We focus on saving animals from SE Kentucky, an impoverished area with great need. With underfunded shelters and lack of access to affordable spay and neuter programs. We partner with several shelters in the Chicago area and Twin Cities to save as many animals as possible. We often take animals that other groups pass up due to health issues. Our commitment is to help every adoptable animal in the shelter make it out alive.
