Our vision is to promote acceptance, inclusion and well-being for people with intellectual disabilities through sports. Knowledge and/or coaching experience in the sport you are interested in coaching is preferred. Click on the REGISTER button (top right or bottom right) to become pre-qualified for a volunteer role.
This coach role is set to assist our Bowling program, the OC Xtreme located in Anaheim. You can find the practice information below.
OC Xtreme
- Day(s): Every Saturday
- Time: 8:30am-11:00am
- Location: Linbrook Bowling Center (201 S Brookhurst St, Anaheim, CA 92804)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Head Coach create, organize and conduct a comprehensive sports training program
- Train athletes during scheduled practice times as well as accompany team to competitions
- Create and maintain a positive and fun environment for all athletes
After successfully completing the required qualifications, SOSC staff will reach out with you to complete the Coach or Team Volunteer role. Following this, you will then be connected with the Head Coach of the OC Xtreme.
