Mission Statement

Keeping Families Connected by providing transportation for prison visitation while promoting family wellness through education, supportive resources, and spiritual enhancement

Description

UWYGPM benefits thses families by providing both the means to maintain family connections during incarceration of the family/friends member and the emotional and spiritual support necessary to nourish the fragile family/friend and help them move from hopelessness to optimism.

The children and families of the incarcerated are"hidden victims" of crime because emotional and practical challenges often make the family members feel that they, too, are in a prison.

We have retreats for the women, and toysand clothes giveaway for children at Christmas.
