We are currently seeking hard-working and compassionate volunteers to help support food distribution efforts for residents at an affordable housing community in Petaluma, CA. This initiative plays a key role in alleviating food insecurity and bringing nutritional support to our neighbors in need.
What You’ll Do:
As a volunteer, you will assist with receiving and unpacking food, setting up the distribution space, supporting resident shoppers, and helping with cleanup. Tasks may include:
Loading/unloading boxes of food
Monitoring food tables and assisting residents
Packing and delivering bags to those unable to attend
Cleaning up and breaking down boxes
Time Commitment:
Approx. 3 hours per shift, twice a month
Location: Affordable housing complex in Petaluma
When: Second and fourth Monday of each month
