Teens are in need of substance abuse treatment at a growing rate, and in some cases returning back to their environment immediately after treatment would not give them the best chance at staying sober. After treatment, many adults opt to live in Sober Living Homes to provide structure, accountability, and new connections while early in recovery to give them the best chance at maintaning sobriety. Currently, sober living homes for teens are not in operation. Youth Recovery Housing Solutions aims to fill that gap, as sadly too many youth are not making it to adulthood.
Do you have a passion for making a lasting impact on the lives of young people recovering from substance abuse disorders? Do you have 5+ hours per month to dedicate to attending board meetings, networking events, nonprofit seminars, etc? This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization.
