Luminario Ballet is having it's annual Gala Fundraiser and Performance again!

Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the Avalon Hollywood.

We need volunteers to arrive at 1 PM assist with set up, guest check-in, taking donations with Square, ushering guests to their tables or seats; strike at 9:30 PM.

Snacks are provided, and, at 4:00 PM, a light, healthy meal.

Gala: 5:30-8:00 PM then Performance 8:00-9:30 PM

Note: There will be an orientation one week before the event, Saturday Oct 11 from 12-2 PM to onboard everyone to Square and procedure for the event. Lunch will be served.

Luminario Ballet was founded in 2008 to represent the vibrance, diversity, artistic creativity, and technical excellence unique to Los Angeles here in Southern CA, across the US; and abroad. We perform contemporary and classical ballet en pointe, aerial dance, contemporary dance, dance theater, for stage, film, collaborations with other arts and music organizations... and...beyond. Although based in Los Angeles we have toured CA, NY, FLA, TX, and, look forward to sharing our unique SoCal brand across the US and the globe.

Luminario Ballet has performed the work of San Francisco Ballet's Michael Smuin; Lewitzky Dance Company; Stefan Wenta; and new choreography by artistic director Judith FLEX Helle ("LedZAerial", Schubert's "Winterreise"), Dreya Weber (PINK, CHER, Taylor Swift), Jamal Story (Complexions, Dance Theater of Harlem), Alexandre Magno (Ballet Hispanico), and Damien Diaz (Leipzig Opera Ballet, Ballet Trocadero).
