Calling all VETERANS!
ORGANIZATION: Allina Health Hospice & Palliative Care
Please visit the new page to apply.

We, at Allina Health Hospice, wish to THANK YOU for your service to our country. The sacrifice of your time and energy to protect our country and keep us safe is never forgotten. Whether on the battlefield or on the home front, our commitment is to leave no veteran behind.
As a veteran volunteer, you have the opportunity to become a companion to a another veteran with a life expectancy of six months or less. You are able to reminisce, share stories or just sitting quietly giving another veteran your time. Sometimes, this might include playing a game of cards or dice, reading to the patient or providing respite to the caregiver. Ultimately, you are helping your fellow veteran to feel valued, heard and at peace. If you have as little as 1-3 hours per week (flexibility allowed), consider visiting a veteran in your area.
Allina Health's hospice program is a "We Honor Vet's" Level 4 Hospice, and we are building upon this commitment to honor and support our veterans at end of life.
