Community Engagement Committee Member - Walk to End Alzheimer’s

As a Community Engagement Committee Member for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, you’ll play a key role in building excitement and connection within our Walk community. This volunteer role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, spreading awareness, and making a meaningful impact.

What you'll do:

  • Reach out to past Walk participants to thank them and invite them back

  • Attend a monthly meeting (1st Wednesday from 6-7pm)
  • Help walkers and teams fundraise by sharing tips, encouragement, and support

  • Recruit new teams by expanding your outreach and inviting friends, coworkers, and your broader network

  • Make phone calls, send texts, and write emails to keep walkers motivated and informed about fundraising milestones and incentive opportunities

  • Share the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association and help others see how they can make a difference

Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or brand new to the cause, we’ll provide everything you need to be successful. This is a flexible, community-centered role where your time and voice truly matter.

Ready to help us move one step closer to a world without Alzheimer’s? We’d love to have you on the team!
