There are a variety of areas where volunteers can serve, and we are always seeking new areas of assistance. If you have a desire to help, we have a place for you.

Description
Any adult interested to giving back to their community can volunteer. Areas of service include in-office projects or working with hospice patients. We will work with you to find a volunteer service that fits your interest and schedule.
Our Hospice volunteers provide support and add generous touches that help to ensure patients' dignity, comfort and sense of fulfillment. Services may include:
- Provide office/clerical assistance, fundraising, community education and more.
- Provide respite care (relief for patients' caregivers), companionship, errands, spiritual care, hospice bereavement, delivering necessary medical supplies and more.
Program Requirements
- Must be over the age of 18
- Willing to assist with special events and projects to brighten patients' lives
- Complete the Hospice Volunteer application
- After your application is received you will be contacted about scheduling an interview, background check, TB testing, and volunteer training.

REQUIREMENTS
- Driver's License Needed
- Background Check
- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- 2-day training of 20hrs
- Must provide driver's license, be able to pass a background check, receive a TB test, attend 2-day MyMichigan Hospice Volunteer training equivalent to 20hrs. Must be able to commit to ongoing volunteer services of at least 6 months.
