Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
-Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop and
implement the organization's strategic plan, aligning programs and initiatives with
the overall mission.
-Oversee the development and execution of key performance indicators (KPIs) to
track progress towards strategic goals.
-Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for growth and expansion within
the Illinois landscape.
Fundraising and Development:
-Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure funding from
individual donors, corporations, foundations, and government grants.
-Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and donors, including prospect
research, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
-Manage a team of development professionals responsible for donor engagement,
and fundraising events.
Community Engagement:
-Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, partners, and advocacy
groups to further the organization's mission.
Represent the organization at public events, conferences, and community forums.
-Facilitate community outreach initiatives to raise awareness and build support for the
organization's programs.
Staff Leadership:
-Work closely with the Program Director to execute the organization's social
activities.
Required Qualifications:
-Experience in nonprofit management, public policy, social work, or a related field
-Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in senior-level non-profit management roles,
preferably in Illinois
-Proven track record of successful fundraising, program development, and
community engagement
-Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
-Deep understanding of the Illinois non-profit landscape and relevant regulations.
Salary: Probono, uncompensated unless salary created from a grant opportunity

The Chicago Cultural Media Performing Arts Alliance’s mission is to advocate for and support the Arts and Creative Industries in Chicago, IL-arts and creative individuals, organizations and businesses-to ensure that the greater Chicago region remains a great place to create, live, work, learn, play and visit.
The Chicago Cultural Media Performing Arts Alliance will become a premier leader, persuading community leaders and stakeholders of the importance of the arts and creative industries and helping the sector connect with business, education, tourism, philanthropy, government and other sectors.
