Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is the #1 voluntary health organization in the United States for people living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and over 300 other neuromuscular conditions. For 75 years, MDA has led the way in accelerating research, advancing care, and advocating support and inclusion of families living with neuromuscular disease. MDA's mission is to empower the people we serve to live longer, more independent lives.
We are excited to host the MDA Ride for Independence to bring our MDA community and our together to raise funds to further our mission. We are looking for a group of committed volunteers to assist with day of event logistics including registration check in and auction support. We are committed to ensuring that your volunteer experience is a rewarding one, while helping to fuel MDA’s mission. Join us for this rewarding event.
Timing: There are two shifts available on Saturday, August 9th at Bear Creek Mountain Resort
- Registration Check In: 2:30 - 4:30 PM
- Evening Auction Volunteers: 5:00 - 8:00 PM
Volunteer Requirements: This opportunity will require the ability to be outdoors, engage with MDA Families and riders with a positive and professional approach.
Important COVID-19 Update: MDA strongly recommends, but will not require, that all volunteers be up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations.
