Description:
Are you tech-savvy, curious about AI, and passionate about driving social impact? Build Up SC is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to support our efforts in expanding partnerships and opportunities using AI-powered insights.
In this role, you will:
Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notion AI) to generate leads, research partnerships, and suggest outreach strategies
Help build and maintain a pipeline of mission-aligned organizations, schools, and community partners
Contribute to strategy development by analyzing trends, recommending outreach targets, and identifying growth opportunities
Assist in creating email templates, pitch decks, and outreach materials
Track outreach efforts and results using platforms like Google Sheets, Notion, or Monday.com
Ideal Candidate:
Tech-savvy and eager to learn how to leverage AI tools for productivity
Curious, proactive, and organized
Has strong communication skills and enjoys outreach or research
Comfortable navigating tools like Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and AI platforms
Bonus: Interest or experience in nonprofit work, business, or marketing.

Our organization is always engaging with schools in South Carolina to promote a thriving economy by empowering and educating our youth on their life options. We offer a mentorship program with a mission to create authentic relationships and shared experiences focused on life skills development, adulthood preparation, professional preparedness, and social etiquette; key essentials that are not taught within a classroom.
Our vision is to see our youth & young adults achieve successful careers or entrepreneurship by empowering them with educational and vocational resources and life-skills to become self sufficient adults. The goal is to show young adults they do not have to succumb any life adversities. We will positively impact young adults by providing educational resources, and build their self- esteem and character.
