We currently have openings for the Recreation Shed in historic United Nations Plaza in the new Skate & Fitness area. In addition to providing Visitor information, this position manages game equipment for use by the public in the park. Equipment includes: ping-pong, foosball, chess, checkers, corn hole, and board games for loan to the public. Volunteers will engage with the public, check out and track equipment, and help maintain an organized and full inventory.

Knowledge of how to use the equipment and play the games is helpful but not required.

Interested candidates must enjoy working with people of all ages in a busy downtown setting and provide good customer service.

Volunteers will work alongside other downtown community ambassadors and the Park Rangers.

Knowledge of San Francisco visitor destinations is helpful but additional training will be provided along with maps and brochures to assist visitors.
