Are you passionate about advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)? The Arc of Adams County invites dedicated community members to apply for a position on our Board of Directors. As a volunteer board member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping policies, guiding strategic initiatives, and ensuring that every person with IDD has the opportunity to live, learn, work, and play in their community.

We are seeking individuals who:

  • Are bilingual in Spanish and English, with experience working with people with IDD.

  • Reside in the eastern part of Adams County and have a background in supporting individuals with IDD.

  • Are parents or guardians of school-aged children with IDD, bringing firsthand experience and insight.

Our Purpose:

To protect and promote the human rights of children, families and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Thereby, ensuring their full inclusion and participation in society. The Arc of Adams County achieves this through a variety of initiatives, including individual advocacy, systemic and policy advocacy, training, fundraising and community outreach.
