Join the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Wisconsin Chapter at Chill on the Hill, a beloved community concert series, and help bring awareness, resources, and hope to the public. As a volunteer tabling representative, you’ll be a friendly and informed presence, sharing information about AFSP’s mission, resources, and upcoming events.
Time Commitment: Approximately 2-3 hours per evening
Responsibilities:
Help set up and take down the AFSP resource table
Engage with event attendees in a warm, respectful, and informative manner
Distribute brochures, event flyers, and materials about mental health and suicide prevention
Promote AFSP programs like Out of the Darkness Walks and Talk Saves Lives
Answer basic questions and direct individuals to further resources if needed
Requirements:
Comfortable talking to the public and passionate about AFSP’s mission
Ability to stand/sit outdoors for the duration of the event (rain or shine)
Friendly, empathetic, and reliable
